Tonight the bear den will be completing Achievement 5, “Sharing your world with wildlife.”  We will be talking and watching a video about what a wildlife conservation officer does (5c) and then discussing what animals have become extinct in the last 100 years and why (5e). Finally, will conclude the evening with our activity where we will be making a bird  feeder (5b).

For the home assignment please complete 5a, choose a bird or animal that you like and find out how it lives. Have your scout make a simple poster showing what they learned and bring it to the next meeting.
